California moves closer to banning paraquat

California is moving closer to banning the controversial herbicide paraquat after a legislative committee recently allowed the measure to proceed, and it then passed the state’s assembly. Florida and Alabama ban manufacture of lab-grown meat

The Florida legislature has signed SB 1084, to prohibit production and sale of lab-grown meat in the state.
