New organic trade show launched: Biofach America

Biofach is the world’s leading organic food tradeshow. Held in Nürnberg, Germany each year in February, Biofach attracts some 50,000 organic companies and enthusiasts from around the world. Now, organizers of Biofach recently announced a purely organic tradeshow in the United States—Biofach America, which will be held June 2-4, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The whole organic value chain will be covered: from organic farming to retail.

In an interview with Max Goldberg of Organic Insider, Bill Ingwersen, CEO of NuernbergMesse North America, which organizes Biofach, said: “Biofach is a global brand, and our name is even stronger outside of the U.S. As a result, we have real interest from many of our international brands and buyers for Biofach America.

But we are not trying to re-create the German show in Atlanta. This is about providing a platform for people who care about the organic industry in the U.S. and want to make it stronger and more competitive.”

This will be the first U.S. national tradeshow focusing on organics since the Organic Trade Association held “All Things Organic” in the early 2000s.
