Breeder Direct was launched in 2020 to provide additional choice for independent seed companies so they can diversify their product portfolio. Options have focused on conventional corn hybrids that provide top-performing, elite genetics while providing opportunity for improved return on investment.

This effort has now been expanded to include conventional non-GMO soybeans.

Ranging in maturity from 3.0 to 5.2, the 2022 soybean class demonstrated elite performance this past year in trials across of range of environments and locations. The 2023 class of varieties will include a broad selection of maturities to cover all soybean acres serviced by independent seed companies.

“Adding soybeans to our offering means Breeder Direct can provide a whole-farm solution for seed companies that have sales to non-GMO farmers,” said Marc Neuman, director of sales and product development for Breeder Direct. “Farmers continue to look for ways to improve their bottom line and we’re excited to further enable independent seed companies to deliver solutions.”
