Biotechnology company to end GM crop testing in Netherlands
Advanta Seeds will close
its laboratory in Rilland, Netherlands for testing GM crops, which will
end GM crop research in the Netherlands. Advanta conducted field tests
for GM crops several years ago, but now says there is no market for its
products. The company has conducted research on GM crops in the Netherlands
for the last 15 years.
